American Idol, Swings, and Slides

Today was the first day that it was nice enough to take Ashtyn outside. We took her to the park for her first outing. Matt thought she would hate it, but she loved it! We put her in the baby swing and she just let us push her back and forth. The wind in her face, as well as a lick or two from Poke (Matt's dog), and it was the best day of her life, so far! As we were leaving, Matt decided she might like going down the slide. I think that it was more fun for Matt than it was for Ashtyn. Hopefully we will be able to do more similar family outings later this summer!

We have discovered the Bumbo..... I always thought that chair looked stupid and uncomfortable, but I was wrong! Ashtyn loves her Bumbo. When she is propped up in it, she can talk for an hour straight. But when she is propped up in it in front of American Idol, that is when her eyes really light up. Who knew my baby girl would be a fan at such a young age. I'm so proud!
